From the Classroom
to the Studio
Never one to do things the conventional way, I entered the design profession through the side door, gathering skills and knowledge from hands-on experience and self-study. I grew up believing in one career trajectory built on stability and purpose and that every other thing that made me happy was just a hobby or something I did outside of work. Being an educator and teaching history was my identity. And then The Pandemic arrived.
Like so many, I questioned what I valued and how I spent my time and energy. I decided to take a major leap and create a practice centered on design as an act of radical self-love. I melded teaching with interiors to forge a new path, and I haven't looked back since.
It's this spirit of reinvention that I bring to each design project. My approach is built on cultivating relationships with my clients and offering a creative vision that results in transformation, not only in the physical sense but also on a soul-level. I am guided by the idea that a home should evolve and be a source of inspiration. It's never too late to reimagine yourself or your home.
